(Buffalo, NY): Out of an abundance of caution, Frightworld, America’s Screampark has come to the
incredibly difficult decision to cancel our upcoming 2020 season. With the new NYS regulations for
haunted houses, and the continuing increase of cases in WNY, Frightworld feels it is in the best interest of
our customers and employees to not open this Fall. Buffalo’s safety has always been, and will continue to
be, Frightworld’s top priority.
Every year we strive to give our fans a better experience than the last, and unfortunately due to COVID19, we cannot provide you with Buffalo’s best Halloween event, as we always do. We would feel
irresponsible opening our event and risking the health of our loyal customers and employees.
We pride ourselves at being Buffalo’s #1 Haunted Attraction and have given Western New York the top
Halloween experience during the fall season for the last 18 years. Due to the ongoing concerns of the
COVID-19 pandemic, we truly feel, this is the best and only option for our community.
